Dear clients, neighbors, and friends:
I hope this letter finds you and your family healthy and safe! As we prepare to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday a bit later on this week, I wanted to take just a moment of your time to acknowledge the deep impact that this wonderful holiday has had on our American tradition.
In late November 1789, when President George Washington called on all Americans to join together in a “day of public thanksgiving and prayer” to celebrate the newly-formed “government for their safety and happiness,” he had no idea that more than 230 years on, our Nation would continue this wonderful tradition. Our Thanksgiving holiday has turned out to be one of those special rituals that embraces all Americans, irrespective of national origin, ethnicity, religion, or politics.
As we continue to navigate the delicate balance of what it means to be a good Citizen of this great American Nation, we must all renew our commitment to keep working on this American Experiment: so improbable in the year 1776 and so glorious in 2021!
Yes, our challenges abound. We are all still fighting a deadly pandemic. Many of us are experiencing greater financial hardships today than in years past. Our political discourse is difficult. But our challenges don’t define us – they never have! That’s because this Nation has something special – a foundational strength that’s rare! We have always been able to transcend our differences and difficulties and continue building, with the help of our fellow citizens and under the guidance of God the Almighty!
And so at Weinstein Construction, we join you and your loved ones in celebrating our shared experience! We count you all in our close circle of friends and want take this special opportunity to wish you a most healthy and safe Thanksgiving holiday!
As always, if there is anything at all that our family can do for you and your family, please let us know! Enjoy celebrating a safe, healthy, and peaceful Thanksgiving holiday!
