I hope this email finds you, your family, and all your friends, in perfect health and in great spirits! I just wanted to take two minutes of your time to convey to you and yours our very best wishes for this holiday season, and the New Year that is upon us!
As I’m sure you will all agree, the month of December is a wonderful one. It is an important month in the Judeo-Christian calendar, as it is when our Nation (and the World entire!) celebrates religious holidays, as well as the Festival of Kwanzaa.
But what do all of these December holidays have in common other than the month in which they occur? Well, importantly, they are unique opportunities to bring family and friends together, promoting love, kindness, compassion, understanding, and goodwill toward others. It is also a great way to celebrate one of our Nation’s most important principles, that of religious freedom!
It is my sincere wish that every one of us will take some time to gather with friends and loved ones, and treasure the time we spend together. Let’s all enjoy putting up festive holiday decorations, eating delicious food, and exchanging holiday gifts!
At the same time, let’s also remember that this month of December is a good time to share some of the bounty we received this past year with others who are less fortunate than we are. I urge you, please give to those in need, and help to make sure that wonderful holiday blessings are distributed all around. Let’s all point the way to hope, light, miracles, and life’s bounty!
